Build News Platform Frontend in Builder.io + Connect to AWS Backend
Budget: $50 – $200 USD
I’m building a fast-moving, video-first news platform. The backend is already set up and running on AWS (EC2, DynamoDB, S3). Now, I need a developer who can:
? 1. Rebuild the Frontend Using Builder.io
Use Builder.io to visually recreate the homepage and article pages (inspired by Breitbart layout)
Use Builder components to match my current Framer layout (hero section, headline, image grid, sidebar)
Ensure I can edit headlines, sections, and layout visually without touching code
Pages should load quickly and be responsive (desktop + mobile)
? 2. Integrate Builder.io with My AWS Backend
Connect to my existing:
EC2 (Node.js backend already running)
DynamoDB (storing news posts, headlines, metadata)
S3 (for image/video storage)
Make sure posts and media from the backend render properly in the frontend
Fix current issue with video rendering when new content is posted via the admin panel
?️ 3. Admin Workflow + CMS Integration
Set up clean workflow so I (or my editors) can:
Upload new posts (headline, image, video, body)
Manage media (upload to S3)
Instantly publish and preview content on the homepage
This can be done through Builder CMS, or you can connect a custom admin panel
✅ Tech Stack
Frontend: Builder.io + React/Next.js
Backend: Node.js on AWS EC2
Storage: DynamoDB (content), S3 (media)
CMS: Builder.io (preferred for visual editing)
? Final Goal:
I want a system where:
My team and I can visually control the homepage and articles
The site stays fast, mobile-friendly, and scalable
We never have to touch layout code to post news or videos
The AWS backend stays untouched — just connected to the new frontend
Please send examples of any Builder.io, React, or CMS+AWS projects you’ve done before. I’m looking for someone fast, communicative, and reliable — who can help me scale this into a professional-grade media platform.
