Bridge between hardware device and Browser extension (USB)

Job ID: 31223533

Budget: $750 – $1,500 USD

Ryder is a hardware company active in the cryptocurrency space. We develop and manufacture hardware wallets to enable safe and easy-to-use storage and transaction signing on blockchains.

We have an open-source approach meaning we aim to keep as much as possible of our development, hardware as software, open to our community. Why we want to build with an open-source approach is to open up for innovation and contribution from our community, as well as enable a trustless model where all of our products can be verified.

Core to our offering is the connection between our hardware wallet device and commonly used wallet software. We are currently in need of assistance to integrate our latest Ryder hardware wallet with the open-source Stacks Web Wallet.

We have the competencies of doing the integration in-house but due to time constraints, we are seeking some extra support at the moment. We expect you to be able to complete most of the tasks independently but we will be able to provide support and guidance.

Most information can be found under these resources, some of the documentation is a bit stale. However, more details will be provided on request:

Please note that the task requires no previous knowledge about crypto or blockchain technology. Proficiency in standard web technology should be sufficient.
