Book and History Websites

I need two clean, modern websites built from the ground up.

The first site centres on my upcoming book. Its main job is to help me engage with readers: think comments. The visitors will be signing a petition on awarding two soldiers their forgotten medals. Each signature will send a lemail to the governor general to reconsider their war record.

The second site is devoted to a collection of heroic medal winners. Here the focus is educational content, so the layout must make it easy to locate heroes, scans, and contextual notes. Fast search, and cross-linking between related topics are essential. I would like the design to be dynamic in that as names are added they move up and down the list based on a scoring matrix. Each page on the site will showcase the heroes medals and ribbons, this most be created by listing the awards and the website will create the visual. A picture of the individual and a spot for a little history

I’m open to WordPress, Webflow, or another mainstream CMS as long as updates are straightforward for a non-technical author. Both sites need to be fully responsive, SEO ready, and secured with SSL. Please include setup on my hosting, basic on-page SEO tags, and a short hand-over guide so I can manage future posts myself.

If you have worked on literary or archival projects before, that experience will be a plus. I look forward to seeing how you would structure the two builds and the timeframe you need.
