E-Book & Design Assets Marketplace

I’m building a dedicated online marketplace where authors can publish e-books and designers can upload graphic asset packs, all sold from a single, streamlined storefront. Everything will run on a website—no mobile app for now—so the full experience has to feel fast and intuitive on desktop and mobile browsers alike.

Core features I need from you:
• Secure payment processing with popular gateways (Stripe, PayPal, or a comparable PCI-compliant solution) and automated payout logic for sellers
• Robust product search and filtering so buyers can quickly narrow results by category, price, format, tag, or rating
• A transparent user review and rating system tied to verified purchases, complete with moderation tools
• Separate dashboards for sellers and admins, letting creators upload files, set pricing, view real-time sales analytics, and manage inventory
• License/key delivery or instant file download after purchase, protected by expiring links
• Scalable architecture (AWS, DigitalOcean, or similar) and clean REST or GraphQL APIs so a future mobile app can hook in without rework
• GDPR-ready user management, email verification, and password-reset flows

Preferred stack: I’m open to modern frameworks—React + Node/Express, Laravel, Django, or a comparable MVC setup—as long as the codebase is well-documented and easy to hand over. Integrating an existing marketplace engine (Sharetribe, WooCommerce + plugins, Medusa, etc.) is fine if you can customize it to meet the above requirements without heavy bloat.
