Blog Website Development in Python

I’d like to build a full-featured blog using Python on the back-end. A clean, well-structured codebase is important to me, so I’m happy with either Django or Flask as long as the framework you choose remains scalable and easy to maintain.

Core requirements
• Post creation and editing with a simple, secure admin area
• Categorisation and tag support so articles stay organised
• Responsive front-end built with modern HTML5, CSS3 and lightweight JavaScript
• Basic search and an archives view for older posts
• Comment functionality that can be switched on or off per article
• Deployment instructions so I can host it on my own server later

There’s no hard deadline, so we can agree on milestones that make sense for both of us: initial wireframes, working prototype, final polished release. Clean code, clear documentation and brief hand-over notes are what I’ll use as acceptance criteria. If you have ideas for additional features—such as SEO helpers, Markdown support or simple analytics—feel free to suggest them; I’m open to improvements that won’t overcomplicate maintenance.
