Biometric Student Attendance Management System -- 2
Budget: ₹750 – ₹1,250 INR
I need a streamlined student management system built around one core function: accurate, real-time attendance tracking powered by a biometric check-in method (fingerprint or facial recognition, whichever you recommend for reliability and ease of deployment).
Key expectations
• Web-based dashboard where I can register students, enrol their biometrics, and view live attendance status.
• Daily, weekly, and monthly attendance reports exportable to CSV/PDF.
• Simple admin panel to add classes, assign students, and set holiday calendars.
While the initial focus is attendance, please keep the architecture modular so I can later slot in gradebook or online-assignment modules without major refactoring.
Tech stack is flexible; common choices like Laravel + MySQL or Node.js + MongoDB are fine as long as the biometric SDK you propose is well-documented and affordable. Responsive UI (Bootstrap, Tailwind, or similar) is a must so teachers can access the system from tablets.
Acceptance criteria
1. A demo server showing student enrolment and a successful biometric check-in/out cycle.
2. Clean, well-commented source code with setup instructions.
3. Documentation covering user flow, hardware requirements, and steps to add new modules later.
Timeline and milestones are open for discussion once you outline the biometric solution and API you intend to use.
