Bilingual WordPress Blog & Knowledge Base
Budget: $10 – $30 USD
I’m setting up a WordPress-based blog that doubles as a searchable knowledge base. The layout has to stay strictly minimalist—clean typography, generous white space, and no visual clutter—so readers can focus on the content itself.
Core requirements
• Two live languages at launch: Arabic (RTL) and English (LTR). The build must be fully translation-ready so I can bolt on additional languages later with a plugin such as WPML or Polylang.
• A knowledge-base section organised by topic for recurring problems. Visitors should be able to jump straight to an article via search or browse hierarchically; I do not need a commenting feature anywhere on the site.
• Seamless front-end switcher between languages, plus mirrored menus, slugs and meta tags.
• Complete installation on my hosting, including any page-builder setup (Elementor or native Gutenberg blocks are fine) and configuration of CDN, caching and basic on-page SEO.
Deliverables
1. Custom minimalist theme or child theme that covers blog posts, knowledge-base articles and archive templates.
2. Multilingual framework configured and tested for both directions (RTL and LTR).
3. Final site migrated to production, with a short hand-over document outlining how to add new languages and topics.
Acceptance criteria
• Lighthouse score 90+ for performance on both language versions.
• Responsive display validated on major browsers and mobile devices.
• Arabic text renders right-to-left with proper spacing, punctuation and font fall-backs.
If you’re experienced in multilingual WordPress builds and understand usability for knowledge bases, let’s talk timelines and any questions you have about content import.
