Project Overview

We are a community-based nonprofit organization seeking an experienced **web designer/developer (or small team)** to design and build a **fully bilingual (English/French) festival management website**.

The platform will serve as a central hub for multiple festivals and must support:

* Online ticket sales
* Vendor registration and management
* Volunteer applications and scheduling
* Sponsorship tiers and sponsor intake

**Bilingual functionality (EN/FR) is mandatory from launch.**

The system must be scalable to add more festivals in the future.

## 1. Website Design

* Responsive design (desktop & mobile)
* Clean, accessible UI/UX
* Bilingual user experience with EN | FR toggle
* Wireframes and visual designs submitted for approval before development

* Homepage featuring all festivals
* Festival listing and individual festival pages

**Ticketing System**

* Multiple ticket types per festival
* Secure online payments (Stripe preferred)
* QR code ticket generation
* Automated confirmation emails (EN/FR)

**Vendor Registration**

* Online vendor application forms
* Document uploads
* Vendor fee payments
* Admin approval workflow
* Vendor dashboard (application status, invoices)

**Volunteer Management**

* Volunteer roles and descriptions
* Online volunteer application
* Availability and scheduling
* Volunteer dashboard (assigned shifts)

**Sponsorship Module**

* Sponsorship tier display (Bronze, Silver, Gold, etc.)
* Festival-specific and multi-festival sponsorship options
* Sponsor intake form
* Invoice or online payment option

**User Accounts**

* User login/registration
* Dashboard for tickets, vendor applications, volunteer shifts, and sponsorships
* Language preference setting

**Admin Dashboard**

* Festival creation and management
* Ticket pricing and inventory
* Vendor and volunteer approvals
* Sponsorship management
* Bilingual content editing (separate EN/FR fields)

### Bilingual Requirements (Critical)

* Global EN | FR language toggle
* Language-specific URLs (/en/ and /fr/)
* Separate content fields for English and French
* Bilingual forms and validation
* Automated emails sent in the user’s selected language

**Auto-translation tools are not acceptable for public-facing content.**

### Budget

This should reflects a full bilingual (EN/FR) build including ticketing, vendor and volunteer management, sponsorship modules, admin dashboard, and QA.
