Beauty Product Experiences Platform
Budget: €750 – €1,500 EUR
I want to launch a web-based hub where people openly trade their real-world experiences with skincare, haircare and makeup items—think Fragrantica’s community vibe, but for the full beauty aisle. The emphasis is firmly on user experiences, so the site must make it effortless to log a product, write a story about it, add photos if they like, and let other visitors react.
Core interaction features I need from day one are:
• A clean comment section threaded per product so conversations stay organised.
• A five-star–style rating system that can roll up into averages and generate “top-rated” lists.
Everything else—search, category filters, even user profiles—can follow, but the comment and rating flows have to feel polished and intuitive in the first release.
Technically, the build should be future-proof. A well-structured back-end API (Laravel, Node, Django—your call) paired with a modern front-end (React, Vue, or similar) will let me spin up a mobile app later without rewriting business logic. I’m also looking for responsive design, basic moderation tools, SEO-friendly URLs and clear documentation so new developers can plug in quickly.
Acceptance criteria for the initial milestone:
1. Responsive website covering the three product categories with working rating and comment features.
2. Secure user authentication (email or social login) to power those interactions.
3. Admin console where I can add products, hide flagged comments and view rating analytics.
4. API endpoints documented in Swagger or similar so the future app can consume them.
5. Deployed on my hosting account and demonstrated live.
Let me know the stack you’re most comfortable with, your estimated timeline, and any questions you have about the workflow.
