QR-Based Interactive Event Engagement Platform

Job ID: 40334420

Budget: $30 – $250 NZD

Project Title: Interactive Event Platform with QR Access, Live Engagement & Photo Moderation (AWS)

I’m building a cloud-based engagement platform that turns any event screen (vidiwall) or live stream into an interactive experience.

A QR code displayed on screen lets users join instantly. When scanned, it opens a mobile-optimized event page (generated dynamically per event). Access must be private via Single Sign-On (SSO).

Core Features
1. QR Access + Dynamic Event Page
Unique QR code per event/session
Opens a mobile-first web app (PWA preferred)
Ability to refresh/regenerate QR codes
2. Authentication (SSO)
Secure login required before access
Prefer AWS Cognito (or similar)
Basic user tracking
3. Engagement Modules (Toggleable)
Lottery / prize draw
Voting (e.g. “Athlete of the Day”)
Membership / sign-up form

All modules should be easy to enable/disable per event.

4. Key Feature: “Foto Bomb” (Real-Time Photos)

User:

Take or upload a photo from mobile
Submit instantly

Admin:

View all uploads in a live moderation queue
Approve/reject with one click

Output:

Approved photos are instantly pushed to:
Vidiwall
Live stream overlay

This flow must be fast, simple, and near real-time.

5. Admin Dashboard (Very Important)

Must be extremely simple for non-technical users and work on web + mobile.

Admin should be able to:

Generate/refresh QR codes
Enable/disable modules
Edit text, colours, sponsor logos
Moderate Foto Bomb uploads in real time
Push approved content to screens
6. Tech & Infrastructure (AWS Required)

Build on AWS for scalability:

S3 (image storage)
Lambda or Fargate (backend)
CloudFront (delivery)
Cognito (SSO)
DynamoDB or RDS (database)

Real-time updates are important (WebSockets or similar).

7. Deliverables
Fully working system deployed on AWS
Clean, documented source code
Simple admin/user guide
Short handover session
Notes
Must be fast, reliable, and scalable
UX should be very simple (non-technical users)
Modular design for future features
