Bali Bike Marketplace
Budget: $750 – $1,500 AUD
I’m creating a clean, mobile-first web marketplace that helps tourists and long-term visitors compare verified scooter and motorbike rentals in one place.
Phase 1 is strictly lead-generation—no on-site payments yet—so the heart of the build must be a fast, intuitive search experience. From the landing page users should be able to browse popular areas like Canggu, Uluwatu and Seminyak, then narrow results with the two key filters I need right now: rental duration (daily / weekly / monthly) and bike type (motorbike or scooter).
Each rental company deserves an engaging profile page. Photos and real customer reviews sit up top, followed by an interactive location map and the shop’s rental policies. Individual bike listings must display crystal-clear daily, weekly and monthly pricing plus a prominent “Verified” badge for trusted partners. A direct WhatsApp button or simple enquiry form should make getting in touch effortless. Would also be good to have different languages if possible with an easy 'translate to' button.
reviews would need to be approved by myself before becoming live on the website and require evidence to avoid false reviews, people would be able to create an account..wait to be approved and then receive information on how to use the site, what we require from them for example, no stock picture of bikes, pricings listed for everyone to see, shop policy etc.
Core deliverables
• Responsive, modern UI that feels trusted and transparent
• Robust search component as the primary focus
• CMS/admin so my team can add or edit shops, reviews, prices and badges without code
• Clean, scalable codebase (React, Next.js, or similar—open to your suggestion)
• Deployment to our domain, Git repo of all source, and concise setup docs
Future phases will add bookings, payments and a mobile app, so thoughtful architecture today is important. If you’ve built travel, rental or marketplace products before and can nail a slick search UX, let’s talk.
