Alphabetize WordPress Service Boxes
Budget: $10 – $30 USD
I need the “Our Services” boxes on both the home page and the dedicated services page to display strictly in A–Z order. I’m working with a purchased theme and the boxes are rendered by the theme itself—there’s no separate page-builder or custom plugin involved.
So far I’ve:
• added a custom snippet in core-functions.php,
• flushed every cache I can reach (Elementor, FlyingPress, Cloudflare),
• even asked Gemini for ideas,
…but nothing changes on the front end. I’d like you to locate the exact hook, query, or loop that controls these service items, implement a reliable alphabetical sort, and then walk me through what you did so I can repeat or tweak it later.
Deliverables
• Live alphabetical ordering of the service boxes on both pages.
• An explanation (code, files touched, and where to edit in the future).
Please keep everything within child-theme so future updates to the purchased theme don’t overwrite the fix. I’m happy to give you temporary admin and FTP access once we agree on the approach.
