All-in-One Media Downloader

I’m building a single, streamlined website where visitors can paste a link from Instagram, Facebook, or YouTube and instantly grab the content in any format—video, audio, or image—without watermarks or quality loss. The workflow should be simple: detect the URL, show available resolutions or bit-rates, let the user choose, then serve the file through a fast, clean download.

The front-end must be responsive so the tool feels just as smooth on mobile as on desktop, while the back-end handles all the heavy lifting: scraping or API calls, transcoding when necessary, and secure file delivery. Caching for repeat requests and rate-limit protection are important to keep the service snappy and compliant. I’m open to your preferred tech stack—whether that’s Python (Flask/FastAPI), Node.js, or PHP—provided you include clear documentation so I can maintain or scale it later.
