Accessory Inventory Management System

I need a lightweight inventory platform that lets me receive any accessory, assign the quantity to a customer’s pool, and later check the item out to a specific asset either with a quick tick-box or by scanning the product code—the system must support both methods seamlessly.

Core flow
• Book in stock: choose customer, accessory type, and quantity.
• Check-out: select the asset and confirm by tick-box or barcode/QR scan.
• Automatic balance update with an audit trail of every transaction.

Visibility & alerts
A real-time dashboard must show each customer’s current accessory levels at a glance. Whenever an item drops below a threshold I set, the system should trigger an alert (email or onscreen notification is fine) so we can replenish before we run out.

Roles
• Admin: full control over accessories, thresholds, users, and reporting.
• Staff: add stock and perform check-outs only.

Essential extras
• Simple CSV import/export for bulk accessory lists.
• Web interface responsive on desktop and tablet.
• Clean, searchable history of movements per accessory, customer, and asset.

Hand-over criteria: working application, source code, and short setup guide so I can host it internally or on a small cloud instance.
