WordPress Website Redesign (New Theme – Same Branding, SEO Safe Migration)

We are looking for an experienced WordPress developer/designer to redesign our existing WordPress website with a clean, modern and professional layout, while maintaining our current branding (same colours and fonts).

The goal is to improve the design, usability, and page structure without negatively affecting our existing SEO rankings.

The developer will be responsible for design, development, testing, and full deployment of the new theme on the live website.

Scope of Work
1. New WordPress Theme
2. Create a new clean and modern WordPress theme
3. Maintain existing brand colours and fonts
4. Improve layout, spacing, and overall professionalism
5. Ensure responsive design (desktop, tablet, mobile)

Page Improvements:

1. Review all existing pages
2. Improve design/layout where needed
3. Redesign pages that currently look poor (to be agreed before implementation)

Locations Section:
The current Locations section is disorganised and needs restructuring.

Tasks include:
1. Create a clean structure for location pages
2. Improve navigation and internal linking
3. Ensure consistency between all location pages
4. SEO Protection (Critical Requirement)

This is extremely important.

The developer must ensure:

All existing URLs remain exactly the same

No broken links
No loss of SEO rankings
All redirects handled correctly if needed
Proper use of WordPress best practices

5. Deployment

The developer must:
Install and test the theme on our staging environment
Deploy the theme to the live website
Ensure everything is fully working after deployment
Technical Requirements

The solution must:

Follow WordPress best practices
Be lightweight and fast
Be compatible with SEO plugins (RankMath)
Maintain existing URL structure
Work with Cloudflare caching

Deliverables:
Fully working WordPress theme
Updated page designs
Clean Locations page structure
Successful deployment on the live website

Developer Requirements
Proven experience with WordPress theme development
Strong UI/UX design ability
Understanding of SEO-safe migrations
Ability to deploy to live production environment
