WordPress Specialist for Website Optimization

Job Description:
We are looking for an experienced WordPress specialist to help optimize and fine-tune our website for performance, responsiveness, SEO, and overall user experience. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail and a proven track record of ensuring websites are fully functional across devices and browsers.

Responsibilities:

1. Responsiveness & Cross-Device Testing
Test the website across desktop, tablet, and multiple mobile screen sizes.
Ensure navigation, forms, text, and images scale correctly.
Fix any spacing, padding, or layout issues on small screens.

2. Links & Navigation
Verify all internal and external links work correctly.
Ensure smooth scrolling for anchor links with no overlap from sticky navigation.
Confirm active state highlighting for current section/menu items.

3. SEO Basics
Ensure proper <title> tags and meta descriptions for each page.
Maintain proper heading hierarchy (one H1 per page, structured H2/H3).
Add alt text to all images.
Configure XML sitemap and robots.txt.
Check page speed and core web vitals; optimize images and minify code as needed.

4. Animations
Ensure GSAP/scroll-triggered animations run smoothly on desktop.
Provide fallback or simplified animations for mobile devices.
Confirm multiple headings animate independently.
Check performance so animations don’t lag on mobile.

5. Alignment & Layout
Maintain consistent spacing across all sections.
Ensure form fields, checkboxes, and buttons are properly aligned.
Fix any unexpected gaps or misalignment across browsers and devices.

6. Plugins & Functionality
Verify all installed plugins are active and up to date.
Ensure forms are submitting correctly (via SMTP).
Check SEO, cache, and security plugin configurations.
Identify and resolve any plugin conflicts (CSS/JS overlaps).

Requirements:
Proven experience with WordPress website maintenance and optimization.
Strong knowledge of responsive design principles.
Familiarity with Elementor, GSAP, and common WordPress plugins.
Understanding of SEO fundamentals and web performance optimization.
Ability to troubleshoot and resolve plugin conflicts and layout issues.
