WordPress School Website

I’m looking for someone who can build a clean, responsive WordPress site that becomes the main online home for our school. The core of the project is an information-rich website that explains who we are, what departments or majors we offer, upcoming events, and any other details parents and students regularly ask for.

The site should open with an engaging home page, then flow naturally into sections such as “About the School,” “Departments & Majors,” “News/Events,” and a contact area with Google Maps integration. I want the back-end kept simple enough that staff with basic WordPress skills can update text, images, and announcements without touching code.

Key needs
• WordPress CMS with a modern, mobile-first theme
• Clear navigation for About, Programs/Majors, News & Events, and Contact
• Easy-to-edit page templates so future content changes are straightforward
• Basic SEO setup (permalink structure, meta tags, XML sitemap)
