WordPress Parallax Homepage Animation
Budget: $10 – $30 CAD
I’m refreshing my WordPress home page and want a clean parallax scrolling effect that brings a bit of depth without slowing the site down.
Scope
• Build a lightweight parallax section where background images move at a different speed than the foreground.
• Layer text blocks so headlines and copy appear smoothly as the visitor scrolls.
• Add at least one simple interactive touch—think a subtle hover reveal or small animated icon—to make the page feel alive while keeping performance fast.
Key points
– Work directly in my existing theme; no full-site rebuild needed.
– Keep code lean (CSS + JS) and compatible with common page-builder plugins.
– Deliver a brief hand-off note so I can tweak image and text assets later.
