I want to launch a WordPress-based website where visitors can upload their own tracks and immediately listen to them through an embedded player. WordPress is non-negotiable because I need the flexibility of its plugin ecosystem for future expansion—streaming enhancements, playlist creation, even e-commerce add-ons down the road—so please keep scalability in mind as you plan the architecture and pick plugins.

The core requirement right now is a smooth, secure “Upload Music” workflow. Whether that is handled through a well-supported plugin or light custom code, it must accept common audio formats, generate an audio preview/player automatically, and store the files efficiently. I’m still undecided about individual user accounts; if a quick registration layer is the cleanest way to keep uploads organized, I’m open to it—just walk me through the pros and cons.

Clean, responsive design is just as important as the back-end. I’d like a fresh, modern layout that keeps the player front-and-centre without burying me in maintenance headaches. Feel free to leverage a lightweight starter theme, but brand colours, typography and simple logo placement should be built-in from day one.
