WordPress Layout & Speed Refinement

I have a WordPress site that needs a polish on two fronts: visual layout and raw performance. All of the granular instructions (screenshots, hex codes, element IDs, target load times, etc.) are already compiled in the Word document attached to this project—please review it before you send bid so we are on the same page and budget set on project already as its not big deal work.

Scope of the layout work
• Home page only, but every global region—header, footer, and the main sidebar—must follow the new spacing, typography, and alignment rules outlined in the doc.
• No visual drift on mobile or tablet break-points; the design must remain pixel-consistent across standard responsive breakpoints.

Performance goals
• Bring the page’s fully-loaded time under the benchmark listed in the attachment.
• Optimise all hero and gallery images without visible quality loss; WebP is preferred wherever the theme permits.
• Minify or defer the scripts and styles flagged in the doc to hit the target Lighthouse scores (core web vitals are already measured for you).

Deliverables
1. Updated theme files or child-theme overrides reflecting the new header, footer, and sidebar layouts.
2. A before/after performance report (GTmetrix or Lighthouse) proving the speed gains.
3. A short log of every plugin, snippet, or setting you touched so I can replicate or roll back if needed.

I will provide admin credentials and staging access as soon as we agree on the timeline. Please let me know your estimated turnaround and note any external optimisation tools you plan to use so we avoid conflicts with my existing stack.
