WordPress/Kadence Site Reorganization, Template System & Visual Standards -- 2
Budget: $10 – $2,000 USD
About the project
We have an established WordPress site built on the Kadence theme. Over several years it has grown organically, leaving us with inconsistent design and structure across pages and posts. We're looking for an experienced WordPress/Kadence freelancer to bring consistency and reusability to the site — without harming our existing SEO — and to build a template system that lets our team create new pages and posts quickly and on-brand.
Scope of work
Site reorganization
Restructure and clean up the existing site for consistency in layout, spacing, typography, and visual hierarchy. This is a structural and design cleanup — not a content rewrite.
Reusable block/pattern library
Build a library of standardized Kadence blocks and patterns so future pages and posts can be assembled quickly and consistently (hero sections, CTAs, content sections, callouts, image/text layouts, etc.).
Templates
Create reusable templates for:
Services / standard Pages
Whitepapers
Videos
Events
Webinars
Visual assets & image standards (optional / let us know if you cover this)
Establish consistent image standards across the new templates — standardized dimensions and formats (WebP, proper alt text) — plus reusable graphic templates for video thumbnails, whitepaper covers, and event/webinar banners. If you offer design services or can recommend a collaborator, please tell us.
Critical constraint — SEO preservation
Do not change page/post content, heading text (H1–H6), URLs/slugs, title tags, or meta descriptions. The reorganization must be visual and structural only. Any change that could affect rankings must be flagged and approved before implementation.
Requirements
All work to be done on a staging copy before anything touches production.
Deliverables
A cleaned-up, consistent site structure
A documented library of reusable Kadence blocks/patterns
Five reusable templates: Services/Page, Whitepaper, Video, Event, Webinar
Image standards and (if in scope) reusable graphic templates
Brief documentation or a short walkthrough so our team can use the blocks and templates
Reference materials
We'll provide a competitive analysis PowerPoint illustrating the look, feel, and structure we're targeting.
Skills we're looking for
Strong WordPress + Kadence experience (Kadence Pro / Elements a plus)
Solid design sensibility for layout and visual consistency
SEO-aware — understands what not to touch
Bonus: graphic design / image template capability
To apply
Please share relevant Kadence/WordPress examples, note whether you handle the visual/image portion or would partner with someone, and tell us your approach to preserving SEO during a reorganization like this.
