WordPress Facelift & Security Updates

My small WordPress site looks dated and I can see a few security warnings popping up, so I’d like a quick but thoughtful overhaul that I estimate at roughly ten hours of hands-on work.

Here’s what I need done:

• A general “facelift.” I’m not after a full rebrand—just fresh styling that modernises the existing look. Tweak colours, spacing, typography or graphics as you judge necessary so the site feels current and consistent.

• New page creation plus a couple of additional sections on existing pages. You’re free to build inside the theme’s page-builder or with Gutenberg blocks, as long as the end result is lightweight and easy for me to edit later.

• Navigation tweaks where those new sections/pages need linking, keeping UX clear on both desktop and mobile.

• Full security check: audit plugins, core version, and hosting settings; patch or replace anything outdated; harden login, backups and other obvious weak spots.

Deliverables are the updated theme files or child theme, the new page/sections live and styled, and a short hand-off note summarising every security change you made. If that scope sounds comfortable in a ten-hour window, let me know your plan and timing.
