WordPress Banner Width Adjustment

The current wide-screen banner on my WordPress site is too narrow and shows unwanted margins. I need the size changed—specifically, the width increased—so the banner spans edge to edge on large desktop screens while still looking clean on tablets and phones.

You’ll receive admin access to WordPress, the theme customizer, and the original banner image. Your task is to update the relevant CSS or theme settings, test the result across common breakpoints, and ensure no layout shifts occur elsewhere on the page.

Deliverables:
• Updated theme or child-theme files (CSS/PHP) reflecting the wider banner
• A short note explaining exactly what was modified for future reference
• Confirmation the banner remains responsive and visually sharp on major browsers and screen sizes
