Web Design, Shopify, Configurator & Illustration for Bearissimo

For our new brand Bearissimo, we are looking for a creative and technically skilled freelancer who can further develop our existing website, both visually and functionally.

We are not only looking for someone with web design experience. It is especially important that you have a strong understanding of branding, premium design and professional illustration, as we will also need custom illustrations for our printed packaging.

About Bearissimo

Bearissimo offers customised fruit gummies and individually designed packaging for companies, brands, medical and beauty practices, studios, events, weddings and private occasions.

Customers should be able to create their own customised fruit gummy product by choosing options such as:

* Gummy shape, for example lips, hearts, diamonds, rings, fruit or pizza
* Flavour
* Packaging colour
* Design theme
* Their own logo
* Custom text, brand name or personal name
* Optional ingredients such as biotin, collagen, caffeine, vitamin C, magnesium or electrolytes

The main focus is on premium, individually printed packaging that can be used as a promotional gift, customer gift, event product or personalised product.

The packaging will later be physically produced and printed. Therefore, the designs must not only look good on the website but also be suitable for professional printing.

The basic concept is already in place. However, we need someone who can turn our ideas into a professional, consistent and high-quality brand experience.

Your Responsibilities

1. Perfect the Website Design

The website should look premium, modern, clear and trustworthy. It should feel creative and professional and clearly distinguish Bearissimo from a standard confectionery shop.

The main colour will be cherry red. All other colours, fonts, icons, spacing, backgrounds, buttons and visual elements should be developed and coordinated with the brand.

The existing logo will remain. Everything else should be refined, improved and visually aligned with the overall concept.

2. Create a Large Product and Packaging Configurator

A central feature of the website will be an extensive product configurator.

Customers should be able to select options such as:

* Gummy shape
* Flavour
* Supplement or functional ingredient
* Packaging colour
* Design theme or industry
* Their own logo
* Custom text or brand name
* Quantity
* Front of the packaging

The selected options should be displayed directly in a live packaging preview.

We already have several specific ideas regarding the structure and appearance of the configurator. These now need to be implemented professionally from both a technical and visual perspective.

3. Create Illustrations for the Configurator

We need many small, custom-designed illustrations for the packaging themes.

These illustrations should appear subtly and repeatedly in the background of the packaging, similar to a delicate pattern. They should not be too bold or distracting, as the customer’s logo or company name must remain the main focus.

Possible design themes include:

* Lips and syringes
* Dumbbells and muscular arms
* Teeth and toothbrushes
* Fingernails and nail polish
* Scissors and combs
* Eyelashes and beauty symbols
* Footballs and jerseys
* Cars and keys
* Houses and keys
* Rings and diamonds
* Pizza and food-related icons
* Cameras, lighting and social media symbols

All illustrations should follow a consistent visual style and must work both digitally and on printed packaging.

4. Develop Ready-Made Packaging Templates

In addition to the large configurator, we also want to offer pre-designed packaging templates.

Customers should be able to select an existing design and only change simple details such as:

* Their name
* Company name
* A short message
* A date
* Their logo

Examples could include:

* Birthday packaging
* Wedding packaging
* Packaging for beauty studios
* Packaging for aesthetic or medical practices
* Fitness studio packaging
* Real estate agency packaging
* Jewellery and jeweller packaging
* Event and trade fair packaging

These templates should be fully prepared and integrated into the shop as ready-to-purchase products. Live view how it would look like with their names or brand names on the packaging.

Full Technical Setup and Store Functionality

The project is not only about creating a visually attractive website. The entire online shop must also be fully functional, professionally configured and ready to accept real customer orders.

This includes:

* Complete Shopify setup and configuration
* Product and variant setup
* Shopping cart and checkout configuration
* Shipping rates, delivery options and free-shipping rules
* Tax and VAT settings
* Customer accounts and order management
* Automated order confirmations and customer emails
* Contact forms and quotation request forms
* Logo and file upload functions
* Integration and configuration of all required Shopify apps
* Connection between the configurator, product options, pricing and checkout
* Automatic price calculation based on quantity and selected options
* Mobile optimisation for smartphones and tablets
* Responsive design across all screen sizes

* Cookie consent and legally required shop functions

* Testing of the full customer journey, from product selection to completed payment
* Error checking, bug fixing and final launch preparation

The configurator must not only look good but also work reliably. All selections, uploaded logos, entered texts, quantities and prices must be transferred correctly into the cart and order details so that every customised order can be processed without missing information.

- Create Detailed Ingredient and Supplement Information Pages

The website should also include professionally designed and easy-to-understand information pages explaining the products, ingredients and available supplements.

These pages should include, for example:

* A complete overview of all ingredients used in the gummies
* Individual pages for supplements such as biotin, collagen, caffeine, vitamin C, magnesium and electrolytes
* A clear explanation of what each ingredient is
* Its intended function and potential benefits
* Why customers may choose that particular supplement
* Which target group or lifestyle it may be suitable for
* Recommended daily intake and serving information
* Nutritional values and active ingredient quantities
* Information about flavours, colours and sweeteners
* Allergen information and dietary properties, such as vegan, sugar-free or gluten-free
* Important warnings, usage instructions and legal disclaimers
* Frequently asked questions about ingredients and supplements

The content should be presented in a visually attractive way using illustrations, icons, infographics, comparison sections and clearly structured text. It should be informative and trustworthy without feeling too scientific or difficult to understand.

All health-related wording must be accurate, legally compliant and based on approved claims. The freelancer should therefore be able to design these pages professionally and structure the supplied content appropriately for the website.

-Website Languages and Translation

The website’s main and default language must be German. All content, designs and functions should therefore be created and implemented in German first.

This includes:

* All website pages and information pages
* Product descriptions
* Ingredient and supplement pages
* The complete configurator
* Buttons, menus and navigation
* Forms and upload functions
* Shopping cart and checkout
* Order confirmations and automated emails
* FAQs and customer service information
* Shipping and payment information

English will be the website’s second language. Once the complete German version has been created, all relevant content and functions should also be available in English.

ChatGPT may be used to assist with translations. However, the freelancer must ensure that both language versions are correctly integrated, consistent and professionally presented. Automatic translations should be checked and adjusted where necessary so that they sound natural and accurately communicate the intended meaning.

It is especially important that German remains the primary language throughout the entire website and customer journey.

Project Timeline

We are planning a fixed project duration of two weeks. All agreed website pages, designs, illustrations, packaging templates and the configurator should be completed, tested and ready for launch within 14 days of the project start.
