We are a local new business looking for a creative and tech-savvy Virtual Interior Designer to help us design inspiring interior spaces while also assisting with business-related media setups, website establishment, and other startup tasks. Position Overview
As a Virtual Interior Designer, you will be responsible for creating innovative and functional interior design concepts tailored to our branding and operational needs. Beyond design, you will support the setup of business media equipment, assist in website setup, and help with various entry-level business operational tasks to ensure smooth launches.
Key Responsibilities
Develop virtual interior design plans including layouts, color schemes, furniture selection, and décor tailored to brand identity.
Coordinate with vendors and suppliers virtually to source materials and furnishings.
Create and manage virtual mood boards, 3D renderings, and presentations for client/stakeholder approval.
Assist with the setup and configuration of business media equipment (e.g., cameras, microphones, lighting) for online marketing and communication.
Help set up and maintain a functional and aesthetically pleasing website using popular platforms (e.g., WordPress, Shopify, Wix).
Support basic business operations including data entry, scheduling, and document organization.
Collaborate with marketing and operational teams remotely to align design and technical setups with business goals.
Required Qualifications
Proven experience in interior design, particularly in virtual or remote environments.
Strong knowledge of interior design software (e.g., AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, or equivalent).
Basic to intermediate skills in setting up business media equipment and platforms.
Experience with web-building tools and content management systems.
Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail.
Strong communication skills to coordinate remotely with a team and vendors.
Ability to multitask and manage time efficiently in a virtual work environment.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with startups or small business environments.
Familiarity with digital marketing basics.
Graphic design or multimedia experience is a plus.
