Substack Setup for Cancer Survivors
Budget: $30 – $250 USD
I’m launching a Substack dedicated to offering advice and hope to fellow cancer survivors and I need someone who can get the publication ready for readers . The job starts with designing a clean, welcoming header From there, I’ll need an About page that clearly explains my mission—practical, informative guidance rooted in lived experience—while striking an upbeat, empowering tone.
Once the visual and foundational copy are in place, I’d like help structuring the home page and recommended sections so future posts flow logically. I’m leaning toward advice and curated resources, though I’m open to your suggestions on how best to showcase them within Substack’s layout tools.
Deliverables
• Custom header image sized for Substack’s recommended dimensions
• About page copy (≈200 – 300 words) edited and formatted directly in the editor
• Basic navigation setup (Home, Archive, optional sections)
• Style guidance or CSS tweaks to keep fonts and colors consistent with the theme
• A quick walkthrough or short Loom video showing me how to duplicate the template for new posts
Acceptance criteria
The header appears correctly on desktop and mobile, the About page renders without formatting issues, and all links in the navigation work. Once those items are live, I should be able to publish a first post without additional design work.
THE DESIGNER MUST HAVE EXAMPLES OF SUBSTACKS THAT HE/SHE HAS ALREADY CREATED..I’m ready to get started as soon as I find the right fit.
