Single Column WordPress Blog Layout

I’m giving my WordPress blog a facelift and want a clean, single-column layout that keeps readers focused on the content. Readability comes first—ample white space, sharp typography, and fluid scrolling on all devices. The only must-have feature beyond the layout itself is social media integration so visitors can share posts easily; comment threads and featured-post areas can wait, though I’m happy to hear ideas for adding them later if it won’t clutter the design.

You can either tailor a lightweight theme such as GeneratePress/Astra or build a simple child theme from scratch. Once the layout is finished, please apply it on my staging site, confirm it meets Core Web Vitals, and then push it live after approval.
