Job Overview

We are looking for an experienced freelancer to design and develop a modern e-commerce website on Shopify for our ethnic apparel brand. The ideal candidate should be able to create a visually appealing, mobile-friendly, and conversion-focused store while also assisting with product uploads and basic traffic generation strategies.

Key Responsibilities

1. Website Design & Development

* Design a modern, trendy, and user-friendly Shopify store
* Customize theme layout to match brand aesthetics
* Ensure mobile optimization and fast loading speed
* Set up essential pages (Home, Collection, Product pages, About Us, Contact, Policies)

2. Product Setup

* Assist in uploading SKUs, product images, descriptions, and pricing
* Organize products into proper collections and categories
* Configure size variants, inventory, and product tags

3. Store Setup

* Configure payment gateways
* Set up shipping rules
* Integrate essential Shopify apps if needed
* Ensure smooth checkout process

4. Traffic & Growth Support

* Provide guidance on basic SEO setup
* Help integrate Instagram / social media traffic
* Set up analytics and tracking tools
* Suggest strategies for organic traffic and conversions

Requirements

* Proven experience building Shopify e-commerce stores
* Strong understanding of UX/UI for online shopping
* Experience with product catalog management
* Knowledge of basic SEO and e-commerce marketing
* Ability to deliver a clean, modern design aligned with current trends

Preferred Experience

* Experience working with fashion or ethnic wear brands
* Knowledge of conversion optimization
* Portfolio of Shopify stores built previously
