Revamp WordPress Author Blog -- 2
Budget: ₹600 – ₹1,500 INR
I’m ready to give my WordPress-based author blog a complete refresh and need someone who can handle design, structure, and functionality in one cohesive pass.
Design & look-and-feel
The current site feels dated, so the first priority is a new colour palette, fresh typography, and a cleaner layout. I’d like a visually engaging home page that highlights my latest writing while also funneling readers toward my books and newsletter. Individual post pages should echo the new style and improve readability on mobile.
Content structure & new sections
Beyond the facelift, the navigation needs tightening. Categories and menus should make it obvious where to find essays, book updates, and resources for writers. I’m also adding dedicated pages for video interviews and short Reels; they should load quickly, display beautifully, and be easy for me to update without touching code.
Functionality & plugins
Expect to swap or fine-tune plugins for caching, SEO, and social sharing so everything runs smoothly under the new design. If the new video/Reel pages call for a specialised plugin or lightweight embed solution, recommend and configure it.
Deliverables
• Customised theme or child theme installed and styled
• Redesigned home page, post template, and global typography/colour scheme
• Reorganised menus and categories, plus new Video and Reels pages ready for content
• Plugin setup/tuning for performance, SEO, and social features
• Brief hand-off guide so I can add future posts and media on my own
