Retro Storytelling Launch Website

Job ID: 40521334

Budget: $250 – $750 USD

I’m preparing to introduce Pennsy Pinkie, a heritage-inspired nostalgic product, and I need a small but memorable website that feels like it was pulled from a mid-century brochure rack.
The site’s main job is to immerse visitors in the back-story. Rich visuals, period-correct typography, authentic historical snippets, and a retro/vintage design language should immediately transport visitors to the era that inspired the product.
This is story first, commerce second. Sales will be limited to a simple single-product checkout or preorder module, so the buying path can remain lean and straightforward.
I’m looking for someone who can handle the full build: design, front-end development, and light e-commerce integration. This could be done with a Shopify Buy Button, WooCommerce single-product page, Squarespace, Wix, or another simple solution—please recommend the platform you can execute best and fastest.
The site should include approximately 4–5 sections, such as:
Hero / introduction
The Pennsy Pinkie story
Nostalgia / historical background
Product / preorder section
Contact / email signup
Desired style:
Mid-century brochure feel
Retro playground / street-game nostalgia
Weathered textures
Muted vintage color palette
Archival-photo feel
Period-correct typography
Clean, mobile-friendly layout
Deliverables:
Responsive retro-styled website
Embedded single-product checkout or preorder flow
Basic CMS or simple update instructions
Launch-ready site/files
Brief style guide covering colors, fonts, and design direction
The finished site must load quickly, read beautifully on mobile, and be easy for me to update afterward.
I have images and storyline ready to use or incorporate portions
If you thrive on pixel-perfect nostalgia and can weave history into interface design, I’d like to bring Pennsy Pinkie to life with you.
