Retro Handball Nationals Website Build
Budget: $2 – $8 CAD
I’m spearheading the 2026 Canadian 4-Wall Handball Nationals and need a small, punchy website that captures two moods at once: a vintage 70s-90s retro vibe and a clean, modern-athletic feel.
Core must-haves
• One-page registration that i can connect a link to an outside source.
• Simple contact form routed to our Gmail
• “Watch Live” page that can display four simultaneous streams (YouTube, Vimeo, or RTMP embeds—whichever is quickest to implement)
Look & feel
Think bold color blocks, era-specific typography, and grainy textures that nod to 70s-80s-90s sports posters, balanced with crisp, modern athletic accents so it still feels fresh.
Scope for this phase
I’m on a tight budget, so I only need:
1. A basic but responsive site skeleton wix custom code—use whichever lets us manage content easily).
2. Vintage-styled header, footer, and one reusable page template.
3. Working forms and live-stream embeds tested on desktop and mobile.
4. Quick how-to sheet or short Loom video showing me where to swap graphics and update links.
5. History of hand ball page with vintage photos etc id like it to be a old school / new school
6. Must have a sponsor section so we can add our sponsors at a later date.
Nice-to-haves (not required now, but design with room to expand): event schedule, photo gallery, or player profiles.
If you can deliver a smart, lightweight build that nails the retro-sport aesthetic and keeps things for me that i can edit, let’s talk!
This project may also happen in steps as we are limited with funds. You could even give a deal and we can put your logo or name on ourwebsite and maybe other promotional material. This is a big event .
