Retro England Webpage Design
Budget: £20 – £250 GBP
I need a full-page web layout that instantly evokes 1950s–60s England yet feels current and user-friendly. Think monochrome foundations—crisp blacks, whites, and greys—punctuated by carefully placed accent colours that guide the eye to calls-to-action and key imagery. The overall vibe should merge clean modern grids, generous white space, and subtle motion or interaction hints with period-specific typography, iconography, and photography.
Scope
• One responsive desktop mock-up plus a mobile adaptation (wireframes, high-fidelity visuals, and style guide).
• Layered source files in Figma, XD, or Sketch.
• All fonts and image assets either licence-free or clearly licensed for commercial use.
Acceptance Criteria
• Immediate recognition of a 50s/60s English aesthetic through type selection, image treatment, and accent décor.
• Consistent monochrome palette with no more than three accent colours.
• Layout passes contrast-accessibility checks (WCAG AA) and is export-ready for front-end build.
Please mention a recent project where you blended retro visuals with modern UX so I can see how you balance nostalgia and functionality.
