Project: Full redesign of the Tawakkol Karman Foundation (TKIF.ORG) public website.
Stack for delivery: HTML, CSS, JavaScript (clean, modular, framework-agnostic; if you want a utility library, propose it).
Must-haves: Multilingual (EN/AR/TR) with Arabic RTL, strong accessibility (WCAG 2.1 AA), fast, responsive, easy to navigate. TKIF runs a separate public portal for scholarships/events/helpdesk that should be clearly linked from the main site.

1) Brand, Tone, and Visual Direction

Look & feel: Professional, credible, human-centered; imagery of real projects/people; optimistic and peace-focused.

Color & type: Calm, trustworthy palette (blues/greens with warm accent). High contrast for readability. Use a web-safe, bilingual-friendly type pairing with strong Arabic support.

Layout: Spacious, grid-based, large headings, generous white space. Consistent card components for news, programs, and stories.

2) Global UX Requirements

Header:

Left: TKIF logotype (click → Home).

Center/Right: Primary nav for sections in the IA below + language switcher (EN | AR | TR), Donate CTA, Search.

Persistent link/button to Portal (opens in same tab is fine). The TKIF Portal hosts scholarships, events booking, helpdesk, appointments, and forum. Label clearly (e.g., “TKIF Portal”).

Quick links (all top-level sections), social icons, newsletter signup, contact details (address, email), legal (Privacy, Terms, Cookies), and sitemap link.

Search: Sitewide search box (autocomplete optional).

Languages & RTL: AR pages must be RTL with mirrored layout and proper typography; EN/TR are LTR. Language switching preserves current page context where possible.
