HabitatPlus Immo is a new real estate company based in Lomé, Togo. Our mission is to modernize the real estate experience in West Africa, beginning with a digital-first approach to housing listings, rental applications, and property visibility. We want to eliminate the use of informal agents (démarcheurs), reduce friction, and give tenants a reliable, easy-to-use digital platform.
We plan to launch with rental properties but expand quickly into property management, furnished housing, and listings for new developments. If successful, this model will be scaled across countries including Benin, Burkina Faso, Mali, and Guinea.
2. Goals of the Website:
Professional, responsive real estate website (mobile/tablet/desktop optimized)
Streamlined rental search and application process
Secure backend (admin dashboard) to manage listings and tenant inquiries
Public listings should show photos, key details, availability, and request buttons
Integration-ready for payment, chat, or scheduling features (even if deferred)
3. Logo Requirements:
Unique, modern logo with symbolic or abstract housing icon
Clean typography (legible, professional)
Must work in color, black & white, and on dark backgrounds
Final files needed: PNG, SVG, JPEG, and editable source (AI or PSD)
4. Core Features (Frontend):
Homepage: Hero section with banner + search bar
Property Listing Pages:
Filters (by price, type, location, furnished/unfurnished)
Grid or list view
Basic info: price, photos, number of rooms, availability, furnished status
Contact form / Apply Now button on each page
Blog or Updates section (optional in MVP)
5. Core Features (Backend):
Admin login
Add/edit/delete listings
Upload photos, documents
Status tracking (available, pending, rented)
Visitor analytics (optional)
Export leads and inquiries to Excel/CSV
6. Optional Features (Phase 2):
Tenant registration + account creation
Online payment portal or integration
Automated email or SMS follow-up
Mobile app for iOS/Android
7. Tech Stack (preferred but flexible):
WordPress (custom theme preferred) or Laravel for backend logic
MySQL/PostgreSQL database
Responsive frontend (Bootstrap, Tailwind CSS, or similar)
Admin interface may be CMS-based or custom (TBD)
8. Hosting & Domain:
Hosting already secured via LWS (France)
Domain secured and pointed
Freelancer will be given FTP, panel, and database access
9. Timeline:
Target: 3 to 5 weeks max
Weekly check-ins expected (Upwork/Fiverr chat or Zoom)
First milestone: Logo + homepage layout approval
Final milestone: Full site deployment with test data
10. Deliverables:
Fully functioning website uploaded to LWS host
Logo in all required formats (print and web)
Documentation (basic PDF or video showing how to manage listings)
Source code and access credentials
11. Ideal Freelancer:
Fluent in English (French is a bonus)
Portfolio with at least one real estate or listing-based platform
Experience with both frontend and backend
Creative eye for design + UX
Respectful of timeline, available for Q&A
