I'm putting together a small, single-page website that feels like a Canva creation come to life—bold shapes, stickers, and drag-and-drop ease—but coded so my sisters can open it anywhere without needing a Canva account. The goal is to celebrate Raksha Bandhan in a fun, light-hearted way that mirrors the cheeky banter and deep bond we share.
Core look & feel
• Visual mood: fun and playful, leaning on a mix of bright accents and softer pastels for contrast. Think vibrant rakhis, candy hues, and a touch of peach or mint to keep things warm.
• Layout should stay clean and mobile-friendly; animated confetti or ribbon flourishes are welcome so long as they don't slow the load time.
Must-have sections
• Message Board – an editable wall where each sister can drop a short note or memory. A simple WYSIWYG field that writes to local storage or a lightweight backend is fine; I'm open to Firebase, Supabase, or any minimal serverless option you prefer.
• Gift Ideas – an eye-catching grid or carousel showcasing ideas, each with a thumbnail, short blurb, and link out. I'll supply copy and images; you wire it so I can update content later without touching code (Markdown, Google Sheet pull, or a tiny CMS—your call).
Nice-to-have (optional, if it's quick)
A subtle photo strip or slider could sit at the bottom, but only if it doesn't bloat the timeline—my priority is the two sections above.
Deliverables
Fully responsive webpage (HTML/CSS/JS or React/Vue—whatever keeps it lightweight).
Clear instructions or a simple admin link so I can change colors, text, and images easily.
Source files zipped or pushed to GitHub.
Acceptance
The page should load in under 3 s on 4G, preserve the chosen color scheme, and allow live edits to both the message board and gift list without requiring a developer round-trip. Push a demo link first; once approved, hand over the final files.
