One-Page Blog Website Development
Budget: ₹600 – ₹750 INR
I’m setting up a sleek, single-page site whose sole purpose is to highlight my blog content in a compelling, scroll-friendly experience. The visual tone is dark and bold, carried consistently from header to footer, while maintaining a clean, professional feel.
Core layout & flow
• Sticky header housing my logo and a straightforward navigation menu that smoothly scrolls to each section.
• A punchy hero banner that welcomes visitors and sets the mood.
• Centre-stage placement of featured articles—this is the homepage’s most critical element and needs to draw clicks immediately.
• Concise About blurb, followed by a dynamic feed of recent posts, then a categories/topics strip for easy exploration.
• Prominent social media icons and a minimalist footer with copyright notice round things off.
Technical & performance expectations
The build must be fully responsive across mobile, tablet and desktop, load fast, and include baseline SEO (semantic markup, meta tags, clean URLs). I’m open to WordPress, static-site generators, or a custom HTML/CSS/JS stack—whichever delivers speed and maintainability without bloated code.
Acceptance criteria
1. Dark palette applied consistently; color values supplied for easy future tweaks.
2. One-page scroll navigation works smoothly on all major browsers.
3. Featured articles section populated with demo posts I can swap out later.
4. Google Lighthouse scores: Performance ≥ 90, SEO ≥ 90.
5. Final hand-off includes all source files and clear instructions for updating content.
If you’re comfortable designing for impact while keeping the codebase lean, let’s talk and get this live.
