NGO Website Architecture Blueprint
Budget: ₹1,500 – ₹12,500 INR
I’m mapping out a new online home for the SARVOTTAM KALYAN FOUNDATION and need a clear, detailed information-architecture document that a designer or developer can pick up and run with.
Here’s the framework I already have in mind:
• Core navigation splits into Foundation, Engagement, Transparency, Media, and Support.
• Within those, the must-have pages are Home, Who We Are, What We Do, Get Involved, Volunteer, Resources/Reports, Gallery/News, Donate, and Contact.
• I also want two extra standalone pages—Upcoming Events and Testimonials—worked naturally into the menu flow.
• The Home page should open with our Mission Statement and spotlight Featured Programs.
• The Who We Are page needs a Founder’s Message, full Team Members section, and a concise History timeline.
Your assignment is to turn this outline into a complete website structure document that shows hierarchy, recommended URL slugs, and the key on-page sections for each screen. I’m also looking for quick notes on user flow, header/footer navigation, and any SEO or accessibility considerations that will help developers build it right the first time.
Deliverables
1. A hierarchical site map (PDF or Figma/Sketch export is fine).
2. Page-by-page section breakdown, including brief content cues.
3. Navigation wireframe or flow diagram illustrating how visitors move between pages.
4. One-page summary of best-practice recommendations (SEO, accessibility, CMS scalability).
Keep the language simple and action oriented; the final document should be easy for writers, designers, and coders alike to understand.
