Modern osCommerce 4 Template Design
Budget: £20 – £250 GBP
I’m launching a brand-new store on osCommerce 4 and need a template that feels clean, professional, and unmistakably modern and minimalist. The theme has to plug straight into a standard osC4 install and work end-to-end: visitors must be able to register or log in, search for items, browse main categories and nested sub-categories, view product detail pages, add to cart, and check out without a hitch.
The front end should be fully responsive, loading quickly and rendering smoothly on today’s major browsers as well as phones and tablets. I’m happy for you to start from osCommerce’s default Twig framework or work entirely from scratch—what matters is that the code stays modular, well-commented, and upgrade-safe.
Deliverables
• A complete osCommerce 4 theme folder (Twig templates, SCSS/CSS, JS, and any asset files)
• Installation/read-me instructions so I can drop the files in, activate the theme, and see it exactly as you intend
• Dummy data or screenshots that prove each key flow—login, search, category navigation, product view, add-to-cart, checkout—operates flawlessly
• Any design source files (Figma, PSD, or Sketch) so I can tweak colours or typography later if needed
Acceptance criteria
• Modern, minimalist aesthetic with clear typography and ample whitespace
• Responsive layout passing Google Lighthouse’s mobile usability checks
• No core osC4 code overwritten; everything lives in the template directory or overrides
• Tested on the latest Chrome, Firefox, Safari, and Edge
