Modern UI/UX Website Redesign & Optimization

I’m ready to give my personal-portfolio website a full refresh and need a designer-developer who can combine clean code with an eye for detail.

My top priority is a modern, professional look. To get there, I want you to work deliberately with typography, a refined colour scheme, and balanced layout & spacing. I don’t have fixed reference sites, so you’ll have creative room—as long as the end result feels polished and current.

Scope of work
• Re-skin every page for a cohesive, premium aesthetic.
• Make the layout fully responsive across mobile, tablet and desktop breakpoints.
• Introduce smooth scrolling and subtle, performance-friendly animations (think hero fades, card hover transitions).
• Rebuild the hero section with strong type hierarchy and clear call-to-action buttons.
• Redesign the “Projects” area: better card layout, refined hover effects, and intuitive navigation.
• Optimise load times: minify assets, compress images, and ensure Core Web Vitals stay in the green.
• Tighten on-page SEO—proper meta titles, descriptions, and semantic tags.
• Improve the contact form: real-time validation, accessible error states, and reliable submission.
• Add a styled “Download Resume” button that works across all devices.
• Deliver well-structured, maintainable code (HTML5, CSS/Sass or Tailwind, JavaScript/React—use what you’re best at).

Acceptance criteria
1. Visual consistency and responsiveness verified on Chrome, Safari, Firefox, Edge and major mobile devices.
2. Lighthouse performance & SEO scores ≥ 90.
3. No console errors; all form submissions reach the designated email/endpoint.
4. Clean, commented source pushed to my GitHub repo.
