Modern-Retro Website for Macin.AI
Budget: $30 – $250 USD
I’m preparing to launch my MacinAI application on the new Macin.AI domain and need a website that marries modern fluidity with nostalgic charm, all deployable on a Linux box running Nginx.
Here’s the vibe: a clean, minimalist layout that stays fully responsive from phone to 4K, enhanced by tasteful CSS animations and transitions. Over that foundation I want the warmth of a vintage colour palette, pixel-art flourishes, and headline-grabbing retro typefaces to evoke early-web excitement without sacrificing present-day usability.
Needs to also have a version for each browser version/code standard of the time so that vintage Macintosh computers can access it.
You’re free to choose the stack—static HTML/CSS/JS, a lightweight framework, or a build pipeline—but the final output must run without extra server-side dependencies beyond Nginx.
Deliverables
• High-fidelity mock-ups (desktop & mobile) for approval
• Production-ready code and assets (HTML, SCSS/CSS, JS)
• Optimised images, icon set, and any pixel art in source format
• Clear deployment instructions or an automated build script for my Nginx server
Acceptance criteria
• Loads error-free on latest Chrome, Firefox, Safari, Edge, and mobile browsers
• Google Lighthouse performance score ≥90 on desktop and mobile
• All interactive elements animate smoothly at 60 fps
• Fully functional after a straight copy to /var/www/html and an Nginx reload
If this blend of sleek and nostalgic design sounds exciting, let’s get this site live.
