Modern Portfolio Website Design

I’m building a portfolio site and need the complete visual design worked out from first sketches through to polished, developer-ready files. The overall look I’m after is distinctly modern—clean typography, generous white-space, subtle motion, and a colour palette that feels current without being trendy for trend’s sake.

Scope
• Sitemap is simple (home, about, work, contact), but each section must communicate expertise and personality.
• Responsive layouts for desktop, tablet, and mobile are essential; no separate mobile site.
• I’ll supply raw project images and copy; guidance on image treatment and hierarchy is part of the brief.
• Design tools: Figma or Adobe XD preferred so hand-off is smooth, but I’m open to Sketch if that suits your workflow.

Deliverables
1. Low-fidelity wireframes outlining structure and user flow.
2. High-fidelity mock-ups for all key breakpoints.
3. Component / style guide (colour, type, buttons, forms).
4. Exportable assets and a Figma/XD link ready for developers.

Acceptance Criteria
• Consistent modern styling across all pages.
• Usability tested at common breakpoints (1440, 1024, 768, 375).
• File organisation clear and self-explanatory.
• All fonts either Google Fonts or properly licensed.

Timeline is flexible within reason, but I’d like first wireframes within a week of kickoff so we can iterate quickly. Looking forward to seeing your ideas take shape.
