Modern Portfolio Profile Page

I need a single-page portfolio that feels professional yet welcoming. The layout will include three clear sections:

• About Me – a concise snapshot with space for a headshot, short bio, and key skills.
• Projects – a grid or carousel that lets me drop in featured work with images, brief descriptions, and optional links.
• Contact Information – email, social links, and a lightweight contact form.

Keep the design clean: restrained colour palette, plenty of white space, legible typography, smooth scrolling, and subtle hover effects. Mobile-first responsiveness is essential, and the code should be easy for me to edit later—plain HTML5, modern CSS (Flexbox or Grid), and only the minimal JavaScript needed for interactivity.

Please hand over:
1. Fully commented source files (HTML, CSS, JS).
2. Any assets or placeholders used.
3. A quick read-me that explains where to edit text and swap images.

Once I can open index.html locally and everything matches the brief, I’ll consider the job complete.
