Modern Minimalist Portfolio Website

I’m looking to have a clean, modern-minimalistic portfolio site built from the ground up. The goal is to present my work and credentials in a way that feels airy, fast, and distraction-free on desktop and mobile alike.

Core pages and functions I need are:
• About Me section with a concise bio and photo
• Work Samples gallery that can expand to full-screen views
• Contact Form feeding directly to my email and protected against spam

Smooth scroll, subtle animations, and responsive layout are important, but I want to avoid anything visually heavy that might slow the site down. I’m open to your preferred stack—whether a lightweight static build (HTML / CSS / JS), a React front end, or WordPress for easier content changes—so long as the final result keeps page size light and performance scores high.
