Modern Japan Blog Site Design

I am building a brand-new blog / content website for the Japanese market and I want the look and feel to be unmistakably modern and trendy. Because the site is starting from a blank slate, I need someone who already has at least four years of hands-on web design experience and can steer the entire visual direction with confidence.

The scope covers every stage of a new website design: translating loose ideas into an information architecture, sketching low-fidelity wireframes, and then producing polished, responsive page comps ready for hand-off to development. Clean typography that supports Japanese characters, intuitive spacing, and subtle micro-interactions are all key. I expect the finished files in Figma, Sketch, or another mainstream design tool so my dev team can pick them up without friction.

Deliverables
• Desktop and mobile mock-ups for the Home page, Article template, Category listing, Search results, and a simple About page
• A reusable component library / style guide (color palette, typography scale, form elements, icons)
• Exportable assets (SVGs, imagery guidelines, any custom patterns)

Acceptance will be based on pixel-perfect alignment with the approved style guide, smooth responsiveness down to 375 px width, and clear annotation of grids, spacing, and states so implementation is straightforward.
