Minimalist WordPress Travel Blog Setup

I’m ready to launch a clean, minimalist travel blog on WordPress that showcases my travel guides, personal stories, and photography in equal measure. The look should stay clutter-free—plenty of white space, intuitive navigation, and typography that lets the images and long-form posts breathe.

Here’s what I need done:
• Install and configure WordPress on my hosting.
• Select or lightly customize a minimalist theme that suits multi-format posts (text-heavy guides, image-centric galleries, and standard blog entries).
• Set up categories and page templates so I can easily drop in guides, stories, and photo essays without extra formatting.
• Enable a native comment section that’s spam-protected and easy for readers to use.
• Integrate a newsletter signup (Mailchimp or comparable) so visitors can subscribe straight from the homepage and each post.
• Optimize basic SEO, performance, and mobile responsiveness so everything loads quickly on any device.
