Project Description:
I am looking for someone to build a minimalist digital exhibition space for my photography portfolio. The focus of this website is clean typography, generous whitespace, and excellent image optimization. The website should act as a quiet gallery frame that lets the photos do the talking.
Key Features & Structure:
- Homepage / Project Index: A clean landing page displaying a minimalist list or a simple grid of my photography projects / genres (e.g., Street, Landscape, Portraiture), each with dedicated tabs / pages.
- Gallery Pages: Dedicated, simple vertical or asymmetric grid layouts for each project.
- Lightbox View: Clicking an image should smoothly open it in a fullscreen, distraction-free lightbox viewer with basic navigation (left/right arrows).
- About & Contact Page: A minimalist page combining a brief bio and a simple, functional contact form.
- Responsive Design: The entire site is to be fluid and perform well on mobile, tablet, and desktop devices.
Performance & Optimization (Crucial):
- Speed is Priority: The site must load quickly despite displaying high-quality images.
- Optimization: Implementation of modern image formats (.webp), lazy loading, and lightweight caching.
- Clean Code: If using WordPress/Elementor, use a lightweight starter theme (like Hello Elementor) with zero unnecessary heavy plugins. If building custom HTML/CSS, keep scripts minimal.
- Instructions for maintenance: A basic guideline is also required that would allow the user to update, manage, and manipulate the website.

No complex animations or custom engines: I am looking for a clean, structural layout using standard, reliable web practices—not complex 3D or heavy JavaScript animations. This should keep your implementation straightforward.
