Minimalist HTML/CSS Portfolio Website

Job ID: 40460584

Budget: $30 – $250 USD

I want a clean, fast-loading portfolio site built strictly with hand-coded HTML and CSS—no JavaScript, no frameworks, no generators. The look should stay true to a minimalist aesthetic: generous white space, subtle typography, and an uncluttered grid that adapts gracefully from mobile to large desktop screens.

Content & structure
• Home/“About Me” section with a short bio and headshot
• Projects gallery that lets me showcase individual case studies (each with image, title, brief description, and external link option)
• My Photographs area divided into four clear categories so visitors can browse by theme
• Contact page holding an email link and social icons

Technical notes
– Use semantic HTML5 tags, modern responsive CSS (Flexbox or Grid) and keep total page weight light.
– Optimise images for web without compromising quality.
– All colours, fonts, and components must be declared in a single, well-commented stylesheet for easy future edits.
– Ensure WCAG-friendly contrast ratios and keyboard-navigable layouts.
– Deliver clearly organised folders (index.html, sub-pages if needed, css/, img/) ready for one-click FTP upload.

Acceptance criteria
1. Every section listed above is present, functional, and matches the minimalist style.
2. Pages validate without errors in W3C HTML & CSS validators.
3. Site renders consistently in current versions of Chrome, Firefox, Safari, and Edge.
4. Final ZIP of source files plus a brief README outlining file structure and edit instructions.

If anything here needs clarification, let me know so we can lock the scope before you dive into coding.
