I need a sleek, responsive web portfolio that puts my graphic-design work front and center. The sole focus is a Project Showcase section, so the entire user experience should guide visitors straight to my visuals without the distraction of extra pages or lengthy copy.

Here’s what matters most to me:
• Elegant, modern layout that loads quickly on desktop and mobile
• Gallery or grid that lets each piece expand to a full-screen view (lightbox or equivalent)
• Simple back-end or well-commented HTML/CSS so I can swap projects in and out without touching complex code

Feel free to suggest frameworks or tools—React, Vue, plain HTML/CSS, or something lightweight—so long as the final site is easy for me to maintain. If animations or micro-interactions enhance the design work, include them; otherwise, keep things minimal to let the artwork speak.
