Facebook-Like Social UI Redesign

My custom social platform follows the familiar Facebook-style layout, but the visual layer is starting to look dated. I want the entire user interface refreshed so it feels modern, intuitive, and fully responsive across desktop and mobile without disrupting the underlying functionality.

You will work directly in the existing codebase, streamlining navigation, cleaning up the typography and colour palette, and introducing a cleaner post feed, profile page, and notifications panel. CSS, HTML5 and a dash of JavaScript for interactive elements should be all that is required; the backend logic is solid and will remain untouched.

Please show examples of past work where you successfully overhauled a web or social interface—live links or Git repos preferred—so I can gauge your design eye and front-end build quality. If your previous projects involved keeping a familiar layout while giving it a fresh coat of paint, even better.

Once we agree on the direction I will share the repo and staging URL. I’m aiming for a concise two-week turnaround with quick check-ins, so clear communication and clean commits will be key.
