EventON Calendar Layout Customization
Budget: $10 – $30 USD
I need my “Eventos” page (https://noticiasatletismopv.com/index.php/eventos/) to look and behave exactly like EventON’s “calendar with event image box” demo (https://demo.myeventon.com/?view=calendar-with-event-image-box).
EventON Pro and the Event Lists Ext. add-on are already active on the site, so the task is mainly about configuration, styling, and any light template overrides needed to reproduce that image-rich grid. Each event must open to show its full description, not the shorter excerpt. I also have a set of pre-defined event categories that must drive the display and filtering; I’ll supply the list and slug names once we start. I’m still debating whether custom fields are necessary, so please structure the solution so they can be added later without re-working the layout.
Acceptance criteria
• /eventos/ replicates the demo design pixel-for-pixel (image boxes, hover effects, colours, fonts).
• Only events from my specified categories appear.
• Clicking an event reveals the entire description below the thumbnail, following EventON’s standard accordion behaviour.
• No core plugin files are modified; everything runs through child-theme overrides, custom CSS/JS, or EventON’s settings.
• Page speed and responsiveness remain on par with the current site.
If you know your way around WordPress, EventON hooks, shortcodes, and a bit of CSS/JS, this should be a quick win. Let me know your estimated turnaround and any clarifications you need.
